2022 Food

Every year, the Denman Craft Fair offers two lunch venues, each packed with offerings from Denman farmers, bakers, and caterers. The focus is on local and fresh, as well as warm and comforting.

Activity Centre

Ima’s Kitchen will be serving:

Ima’s Kitchen
  • Falafel platters-includes pita, falafel, tahini, salads, pickles
  • Soups- everyday we will have a vegan and a meat option served with focaccia and/or a salad
  • Cinnamon buns
  • Spice mixes (seasoning salt, shawarma spice mix)
  • Hot sauces

Community Hall

Melanie and Teegan will be serving:

  • Chicken noodle soup 
  • Beef stew
  • Butternut squash soup(vegan)
  • Orzo salad(vegan)
  • Served with rolls

Nostimo Foods (Sophia) will be serving:

  • Spanakopita
  • Moussaka
  • Oven Roasted Potatoes
  • Dolmades
  • Greek Salad
  • Baklava
  • Bougatsa (Greek Custard Cake)

Pun will be serving:

  • Salad rolls
  • Spring rolls 
  • Phad Thai

Outside of the Community Hall 

Naomi Elliot will be serving Bacon and Egg Scramble Breakfast Buns from 10 – noon. Chilli con Carne with Orkney Farm beef, and Vegan chilli with local veg. plus cornbread (regular and gluten free) from 11 onwards. House made salsa, hot sauce and jalapeños to spice things up.

Earth Club Factory will be making hot drinks

The Blackberry Lane Preschool will be doing their dessert fundraiser in the backhall and PAC will be doing one in the Activity Center.
